Due to the unavailability of the ESC school on weekends, the club erg race is now scheduled to be held at Eagle Fire Hall in New Hope on the morning of Sunday 3/25/2012, time tbd. More details soon.

Masters erg workouts have been rescheduled for NEXT WEEK ONLY to Monday and Thurs. 6:30, ESC School. This should allow for domestic happiness because Tues is Valentine’s day. Scott promises a fun workout on Monday.

Please complete the equipment survey emailed to the membership on 2/8/2012. We’ll be reviewing the data at the equipment meeting this Saturday, 2/11/12 to help determine our boat and equipment acquisition strategy for the coming year. This shouldn’t take more than five minutes. If you did not receive the survey via email, please contact Chris Bowley, Boat Captain.

We will have our annual equipment needs meeting on Saturday, February 11 at 9:30AM at the Glover’s residence, 8 Overlook Court, Lambertville.

We will discuss our needs for the upcoming season with regard to boats, oars, launches, and anything else that the members would like to discuss.

The Haddon Hammers New Jersey Indoor Rowing Championship will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012.  Information about the event, as well as details about the sale of the Concept 2 Model D ergs that will be used there can be found on the attached flier.

The Youth and Masters rowers will have scheduled winter workouts at the ESC School as follows:

Youth Program

Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday from 6 – 7:30 PM. Youth rowers should contact coaches Ken Foran or Carole Hey for more details.

Masters

Tuesdays at 6:30 – 8:00 PM, and Thursdays (with the Youth) at 6 – 7:30 PM.
The Tuesday evening sessions will be coached by Scott Sussman.
The Masters workouts will include stretching and erging.
There will also be Saturday morning, 8AM runs at various locations.
Masters rowers should contact Gwyn Linus for more details.

Location: The ESC School is on Route 179 in West Amwell. It is set back from the road behind trees. The entrance is on the northbound side of the road, opposite the West Amwell Elementary School.
